  Good News to Share...My Wife Said to me...

  and the program at this last circuit assembly: ...not part of the world was the final nail in the coffin.

  How Many of Them Do You Know About?

  after flipper's thread about the wt child abuse cases, i started to think about how many children i know of personally who have been sexually abused by a jw!.

  as someone who is not especially 'in the know', it's amazing that i do know five of them.

  one who was a small baby, at the time!.

  Thinking back of the damage done is hard enough . . . the thought that this evil is still going on is even harder . . . innocent children having their lives ruined while the players move the pieces round the board without seriously addressing it. . . it's hard to imagine anything more wicked.

  Slandered At the Circuit Assembly & My Letter To My Mother

  on saturday, my ex husband went on the platform at the one day circuit assembly and slandered me in front of 800+ people.. my jw family is even up in arms because he basically lied and ruined any last bits of my reputation that i had left, the worst part is this was elder sanctioned.. i am really exhausted from all the upheaval so i will get right to the point.

  the following is what i sent to my mother:.

  I'm really sorry Julia . . . as if you haven't been through enough already! What your ex did was totally unneccessary and even from a JW perspective, he amounts to nothing more than a manslayer.

  In some ways it may work to your advantage in the long run . . . especially with family if they are in any way fair-minded and objective . . . I hope so.

  The letter you wrote to your Mum (and Dad) was beautifully done.

  Chin up girl . . . you and your children are throwing open the gates to freedom . . . these things are painful . . . but much better times lie ahead for you . . . kia kaha (be strong)

  WT seldom uses more than a verse or two at a time in their cafeteria style use of scripture to support their weird doctrines . . . so context is seldom revealed.

  Never has the true import of the definitions found in Matthew been as obvious to me as they are now . . . and you're so right Terry, it's the spirit or attitude of the contrasting slaves that they totally fail to connect with.

  Never has that attitude been more blatantly exposed than in the attitude to the wellbeing of innocent JW children.

  And that attitude is quite obviously the one demonstrated by the evil slave . . . makes my blood boil . . . exellent point though

  Welcome to the forum js.trash . . .

  I know of a few (including myself) who have emailed a number of Govt Depts., Child Commissioner etc highlighting the issue. I think I'm right in saying it has been Steve Unthanks intention for a Govt agency to take up the case once tabled in Court (Ibelieve that took place on 19th).

  As yet there has been no progress report on this board.

  I enjoyed your post . . . please stick around, you seem to have plenty to offer

  They caught me house-sitting in Houston this morning

  i went outside and to the car this morning for some items and saw some walkers (very slow walkers) approaching, in pairs, a few homes away.

  i knew i had a little time to think.

  when the doorbell rang i was ready.. we've got a few more days here in houston, just north of braes bayou and near stella link rd.
